Rojelio “Roger” Galindo, age 60, of Granger, TX, passed away suddenly on May 22nd, 2025.
Rojelio “Roger” Galindo was born on January 17, 1965, in Amherst, Texas, to Jose Sr. and Olivia Galindo. A proud graduate of Littlefield High School, Class of 1983, Roger carried with him a deep love for his roots, his family, and life’s simple joys.
On July 24, 2015, he married his love, Kathy Galindo. Their life together was grounded in love, laughter, and family—filled with countless cherished memories. Roger was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, and a joyful great-grandfather. His greatest happiness was found in the presence of those he loved.
Roger was a man of many passions. A loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Tech Red Raiders, he also enjoyed reading, fishing, and working with his hands. Whether casting a line, building something with care, or enjoying a quiet moment at home, he lived each day with purpose and heart.
Those who knew Roger will remember his thoughtful nature, quiet strength, and his opinionated spirit. He never hesitated to share his thoughts—especially when it came to the people he loved—and always pushed for the best. His guidance came from a place of love, and his high standards reflected how deeply he cared. Beneath his calm and serious exterior was a gentle, funny soul who loved to laugh and make others smile.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Galindo Sr.; his brother, Jose Galindo Jr.; and his sister-in-law, Gloria Aleman.
Roger is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy Galindo; his children, Amber Vinson and husband Diamond Vinson, and Bryan Galindo; and children in love, Michael, Eric, and Ricky. He is also survived by his mother, Olivia Galindo; his siblings, Sandra, Crystal, and Joe Paul; 18 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved and admired him deeply.
Roger leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, humility, opinion, and quiet humor. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
