Loretta M. (Dykowski) Remmert, born on July 20th, 1944 in Taylor, Texas to Felix and Marcella (Hajda) Dykowski, entered into rest on October 28th, 2025 at the age of 81.
Loretta graduated from Granger High School in 1962, moved to Austin, Texas and began her career with Southwestern Bell, now AT&T. In 1997 she retired with a total of 31 years of service to be able to watch her grandchildren rather than having them attend daycare.
September 15th, 1963, she married Melvin Remmert in Granger, Texas. They were married 59 years before his passing in January of 2023.
On February 21st, 1965 they had a son, Kevin Raye Remmert and on May 9th, 1967 they had a daughter Karen DeAnn Remmert.
She is preceded in death by her parents Felix & Marcella (Hajda) Dykowski, husband Melvin Charles Remmert and son Kevin Raye Remmert.
She is survived by her Daughter, Karen Cathey; Daughter-in-law, Lannie Briscoe; Grand Daughter, Holly (Beau) Zoerner; Grand Daughter Stefani (Jeremy) Williams; Great-Grandkids, Zane and Kacen Zoerner, Isaiah Mendoza, Jasiah, Sariah and Aveyah Williams; Sister and Brother-In-Law, Johnny and Irene Vrabel and Sister Ginny Matula as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Deral Millikin, Dylan Newsom, David Vrabel, Jimmie Vrabel, Jeremy Williams and Beau Zoerner.
Honorary pallbearers are John Parker, Shane Newson, Joe Mendoza, Larry Neal, Patrick Davis and Kyle Mills.
