Joyce Yvonne Schoenrock

Joyce Yvonne Schoenrock, of Taylor, Texas, passed away on June 20, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones at home.

Joyce was born to Samuel Roy and Cora Catherine (Rhodes) Buyher on September 27, 1935, in Dallas, Texas.  She married Thomas Schoenrock on June 7, 1969.  It may have been June 8th, depending on if you asked Joyce or Thomas, since the church didn’t have Sunday marriage ceremonies then.  They had just celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary.  She proudly retired from Texas Instruments after 20 years.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband, Thomas; son, Raymond Schoenrock; daughter, Tamara Humbert; grandson, Johnathan Schoenrock; and sister-in-law, Julia Niemstschk.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Cora and Samuel Buyher; son, Greg Schoenrock; daughter, Brenda Kay Eddins; brother-in-law, Eldon Niemtschk; and three sister and three brothers.
