Irene Mikus Bernhardt
March 22, 1928 — November 20, 2025
Irene Mikus Bernhardt, 97, formerly of Thrall, passed away peacefully on November 20, while in the wonderful care of SPJST Skilled Nursing in Taylor.
She was born March 22nd, 1928, in Taylor and raised in the Rice's Crossing area. She married Adolph Bernhardt Jr. on February 16th, 1947, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Thrall. He predeceased her April 25th, 2001.
Survivors include 3 children, Frankie and wife Patty of Longview, Roger and wife Angela and daughter Debbie all of Thrall. Grandchildren Johanna of Thrall and Johnny and wife Joy along with great grandchildren Ryan, Riley and Trinity all of Longview.
Graveside services will be held Monday December 1st at 11 AM at Taylor City Cemetery. Pastor Jeffery Geske officiating.
