Dayhara Ortiz, 48, of Taylor Texas passed away on Thursday September 11, 2025. She was born on April 11, 1977, in Mayaquez, Puerto Rico, to Ivelisse Santana and Felix Urbano Ortiz. She has a sister Yhadira White, nieces Kimberly, Abby, and Libyah. A brother Ever Caraballo Jr and an adored nephew Sterling. Her surviving grandparents are Aida and Fello Carlo who reside in Puerto Rico.
She was wed to her husband Kyle, on June 16, 2003.
Day, as she liked to be called, and her spouse Kyle, lived together in their home in Taylor, Texas with their beloved, past and current pets, Enzo, Fergi, ,Ginny, Sugarbee, and Tex. These were her children. Over the years she enjoyed crafting, camping, travelling, food, family and dear friends. She enjoyed collecting James Avery charms. She loved the beach, even though she didn’t get to go often enough. She loved her native Puerto Rico, and her grandparents. She also had a close relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus and along with her faith she came to love and cherish her adopted church family as well. She will be missed by all and will be remembered for her cheerful, caring, thumbs up, come what may attitude.
She will be deeply missed as a partner, companion, and friend.
