Carolyn Jacobson

Carolyn Jacobson, age 86, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, at Brookdale Assisted Living in Lakeway, Texas.

Carolyn was born on July 12, 1939, in Taylor, Texas, where she spent the majority of her life. She graduated from Taylor High School in 1957 and married the love of her life, Lester Jacobson, on October 5th of that same year. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Carolyn dedicated her life to caring for her family as a homemaker.

She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Taylor, where she was baptized, confirmed, and married. Her unwavering faith and love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, were at the center of her life.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lester Jacobson; her parents, Clarence and Edna Braker; and her sister-in-law, Geneva Ambrose.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Rozacky (Larry) and Leslie Arnold (Stan); and her granddaughters, Lauren Weaver (Randy), Lindsey Watson (Travis), Stacey Barta (Kade), and Sara Romo (Will). Carolyn was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren: Reagan, Randy, and Riley Weaver; Jack and Henry Watson; Andrew Barta; and Samuel Romo.

A visitation will be held February, 26, 2026, at 1 pm at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas. Graveside services will follow at 2 pm at the Taylor City Cemetery.
