Alice Naizer Zett

Alice Naizer Zett died June 29, 2025 in Taylor, Texas. She was born February 3, 1926 on the family farm in Granger, Texas, the youngest child of Adolf and Mary Cervenka Naizer.

She was a 1944 graduate of Granger High School. On July 8, 1952 she married Ralph William Zett at the St Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Granger. They Moved to Rockdale, Texas then to Taylor. Three Children were born to their union.

Alice was a devout Catholic, an accomplished seamstress, a talented cook, loved to decorate for each holiday and enjoyed gardening where she was gifted with peace and comfort in a beautiful yard. She and Ralph enjoyed dancing and traveling.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband after 59 years together, infant son Ralph Edward Zett and grandson Paxton Prcin also her brothers and their wives, Emil & Mildred, Adolph & Beatrice, Joe & Rosie and Raymond, father and mother-in-law Rudolf & Albina Zett and Ralph’s siblings and their spouses, Adelaide & August Adamek, Ben & Mary Zett, Chris & Anita Zett, Connie & Rick Bartosh, Dan & Edith Zett, Anna Zett, Bea & Paul Zimmerhanzel and Valarie and Louis Vrabel.

Survivors include daughter Marla Prcin and husband Darrell, son Thomas Zett and wife Rebecca, grandson Miles Prcin, granddaughters Jennifer Zett Kennedy and Elizabeth Zett, Great grandsons James Aaron Kennedy and Stephen Kennedy and sister-in-law Lillian Naizer.

Alice was blessed with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Alice will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 5:00pm until 7:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm at Providence Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 10:30am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylor with the burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Granger.
