Alvin Tomas Murphy

Alvin Tomas Murphy, 80, of Hutto, died Sunday, September 5, 2010, at the Heritage Villa Nursing Home in Dayton, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 11, 2010, at the Machu Cemetery in Granger. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Friday, at the Providence Funeral Home in Taylor.

Alvin was born in 1930 in Taylor Texas, to parents; Frank and Mary Valis Sralla, and has been a lifelong resident of Williamson County. He was a retired cotton farmer and enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising cattle, and helping others.

Mr. Murphy was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Clifton, Frank, Jerome, Johnnie, and Benny Sralla. He is survived by his sister: Ruby Pittman of Hardin and brother: Walter Sralla of LaMarque.
