Eleanor Anne Kuempel Buchhorn
May 10, 1947 — November 16, 2016
Eleanor (Kuempel) Buchhorn, 69, of Cedar Creek passed away peacefully at home November 16, 2016 from a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Eleanor Kuempel; sister, Karen Barrington; nephew, Mark Kuempel, and cousin, Elizabeth Ray.
She is survived by husband, Leonard Buchhorn; daughters Cheryl Mikulencak (Kevin) and Lori Crawford; stepdaughter Kathy Buchhorn; beloved grandchildren Presley, Joshua, Jacob and Shelby Mikulencak; brothers George Gary Kuempel (Judy), Donald Kuempel (Jeanette), Jack Kuempel (Janell) and David Kuempel; brother-in-law Donald Barrington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Providence Funeral Home in Bastrop. Celebration of Life will be Monday, November 21, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Memory of Eleanor may be made to Health Sense Hospice of Austin or Cedar Creek United Methodist Church.
